Description
DC resistance test on transformer windings is one of the indispensible test items when taking-over, finishing overhauling and changing tap switch.
This instrument is for quick measuring DC resistance of transformer windings, motor windings, reactor windings, arc-extinguishing coils, etc., as substitution for Wheatstone bridge and Kelvin bridge. It can check welding quality, short-circuit, damages of winding joints, outgoing wire errors, condition of tap switches, etc.
This meter has wide measuring range, can measure DC resistance of PT. Measuring speed is very quick, e.g., it will take only one minute for measuring 110kV/50MVA power transformer. The discharging speed is also very quick, usually not more than few seconds.
